This was posted on the French Letters site after the Military Writers Conference in Dayton

“Having just returned from the MWSA writers conference I have to say that my favorite session was led by Jack W. London.  It was about characters and character development.  Jack also inspired me to try my hand at fiction.  This well-presented session was timely for me.  I aspire to be a writer of Jack’s caliber and he is always ready to teach, just as he is ready to write.  It is wonderful to know such a wonderful story-weaver and friend.  — Michael D. Mullins

So, when my head gets low and I’m having trouble getting a thousand words that make sense or advance the story, a kind word here and there and I’m good to go.

Just sharin’, and thank you Mike.  Very kind words indeed.
