Historically accurate, Engaged in War is a novel of the will to survive when war, distance, loss, and the uncertainty of the future separate a couple far beyond the breaking point. This was a wonderful book. Mr. London has done a fabulous job showing the trials of war along with the human aspect. I love that it is historically accurate. Growing up I listened to my Grandfather’s stories of war and I must say this really brings those stories home for me.”
